Salvatore Romano nasce a Palermo nel 1957 e dopo gli studi artistici presso l’istituto d’arte di Palermo e dell’Accademia di Belle Arti del corso di pittura, si trasferisce a Firenze, dove tuttora vive ed opera. Ha tenuto tante collettive e una quindicina di mostre personali. La sua arte è orientata da sempre verso il Nuovo-Simbolismo. Di lui si sono occupati critici di livello nazionale come Marcello Venturoli, Dino Pasquali, Francesco Carbone, Nicolò D’Alessandro e Roberto Roda. 
Salvatore Romano was born in Palermo in 1957 and after his artistic studies at the Art Institute of Palermo and the Academy of Fine Arts of the painting course he moved to Florence, where he still lives and works. He has held many collective and fifteen personal exhibitions. His art has always been oriented towards New Symbolism. National critics such as Marcello Venturoli, Dino Pasquali, Francesco Carbone, Nicolò D’Alessandro and Roberto Roda have dealt with him.
Salvatore Romano wurde 1957 in Palermo geboren und zog nach seinem künstlerischen Studium am Kunstinstitut von Palermo und der Akademie der Schönen Künste im Studiengang Malerei 1983 nach Florenz, wo er noch heute lebt und arbeitet. Er hat viele Gemeinschafts- und fünfzehn Einzelausstellungen durchgeführt. Seine Kunst war stets am Neuen Symbolismus orientiert.
